Suspended ceiling replacement in Dorset
Our teams carry out ceiling replacement in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester and across the rest of Dorset. Ceiling replacement means stripping out a tired, damaged or outdated suspended ceiling and fitting a new one, or re-tiling a sound grid with new tiles.
Suspended ceiling replacement for Dorset buildings
Near the water at Bournemouth, damp air shortens the life of standard tiles and grid in some rooms; humidity-resistant tiles and corrosion-resistant grid last longer. Much of the work in Bournemouth is office ceilings: re-tiling between tenants, adding LED panels, and acoustic upgrades where open-plan floors have become noisy. Evening and weekend fitting keeps floors usable.
Typical ceiling replacement jobs we price in Dorset include damp-prone rooms in coastal buildings, office floors being re-tiled between tenants, ceilings in older buildings with low window heads. Dorset is in the South West, around 127 miles from our Birmingham base on average.
What the job includes
- Full strip-out and new grid where it is not

Questions people ask
Do you cover all of Dorset?
Yes. We take on ceiling replacement across Dorset, including Bournemouth, Poole and Dorchester, and nearby areas such as Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
Will a ceiling cope with damp air near the coast at Bournemouth?
In damp areas we use humidity-resistant tiles and better-protected grid, and check ventilation is doing its job.
Do you need an asbestos survey?
For buildings built before 2000, yes, before any strip-out. If you do not have one, we can tell you what to ask a surveyor for.
What happens to our old tiles?
We remove them from site. Some manufacturers run recycling schemes for clean mineral fibre tiles; we use them where tiles qualify.
