LED panels and services integration
Integration means placing light fittings, air-conditioning cassettes, diffusers, speakers, detectors and sprinkler heads into the ceiling so each sits to the grid, is supported properly and does not overload the tees.
How we do it
The cleanest ceilings are planned on a reflected ceiling plan before anything is hung. We set out the grid, then mark every fitting to it with your electrician and mechanical contractor, so panels fill whole tiles and cassettes sit centrally.
Heavy items such as cassettes and large luminaires need their own hangers rather than resting on the grid. We fit the extra support and leave the electrical and mechanical connections to the right qualified trade.

Do you install the lights as well?
We fit the ceiling, cut-outs and supports and position the fittings. Electrical connections are made by a qualified electrician, which we can arrange through the S&K Group.
Can old fluorescent fittings be swapped for LED panels?
Yes. LED panels drop into a standard grid, and it is a good moment to replace tired tiles too.
Why do cassettes need extra hangers?
A grid is designed for the weight of tiles and light fittings. Air-conditioning cassettes need independent support from the soffit.
