Hygiene and cleanroom ceilings
Hygiene ceilings use sealed, wipe-clean tiles, typically vinyl-faced or coated mineral fibre, or plain metal, with hold-down clips and gaskets so they can be cleaned without lifting or harbouring dirt.
How we do it
Food production, commercial kitchens, labs and clinical rooms need a ceiling that can be washed, does not shed fibres and stays put when air pressure changes. Hold-down clips stop tiles lifting when doors slam or extraction kicks in.
We match the tile to the cleaning regime. Some tiles tolerate a damp wipe only; others take regular washing or disinfectant. Tell us how the room is cleaned and we will choose a tile that will last under it.

Questions people ask
Can we use ordinary tiles in a kitchen?
Not in food preparation areas. Ordinary tiles absorb grease and moisture and cannot be cleaned properly. Hygiene tiles are the right choice.
Do hygiene ceilings still give access to services?
Yes. Clips are released and the tile lifts out. It takes a moment longer than a standard tile.
Can you work around our production schedule?
Yes. We plan food-area work around shutdowns, cleaning windows or weekends so production is not interrupted.
