Suspended ceiling replacement in South Wales
Looking for ceiling replacement in South Wales? We survey, quote and fit across the county, including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Bridgend. Ceiling replacement means stripping out a tired, damaged or outdated suspended ceiling and fitting a new one, or re-tiling a sound grid with new tiles.
Suspended ceiling replacement for South Wales buildings
Office buildings in Cardiff range from older blocks with tired grids to floors fitted out for each new tenant. We match tiles where we can and replace the grid where it no longer suits the layout. Distribution and industrial sites near Newport often need ceilings in mezzanine offices, canteens and welfare blocks inside the main building, with access planned around shifts and loading.
Typical ceiling replacement jobs we price in South Wales include office floors being re-tiled between tenants, warehouse offices and welfare blocks, classrooms refurbished in the holidays. South Wales is in Wales, around 95 miles from our Birmingham base on average.
What the job includes
- Full strip-out and new grid where it is not
- Phased, out-of-hours working in occupied buildings
- Waste removed and recycled where possible
- Re-tile into existing grid where it is sound
Questions people ask
Do you cover all of South Wales?
Yes. We take on ceiling replacement across South Wales, including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Bridgend, and nearby areas such as Bristol, Somerset and Herefordshire.
Can you fit a ceiling in an occupied office in Cardiff?
Yes. We work evenings and weekends, sheet and move furniture section by section, and leave each area usable for the next morning.
What happens to our old tiles?
We remove them from site. Some manufacturers run recycling schemes for clean mineral fibre tiles; we use them where tiles qualify.
Do you need an asbestos survey?
For buildings built before 2000, yes, before any strip-out. If you do not have one, we can tell you what to ask a surveyor for.
