Suspended ceiling replacement in Surrey
Our teams carry out ceiling replacement in Guildford, Woking, Epsom and Redhill and across the rest of Surrey. Ceiling replacement means stripping out a tired, damaged or outdated suspended ceiling and fitting a new one, or re-tiling a sound grid with new tiles.
Suspended ceiling replacement for Surrey buildings
Much of the work in Guildford is office ceilings: re-tiling between tenants, adding LED panels, and acoustic upgrades where open-plan floors have become noisy. Evening and weekend fitting keeps floors usable. Retail units around Epsom usually need a fast turnaround, so we can work overnight in centres and on high streets to keep disruption to trading low.
Typical ceiling replacement jobs we price in Surrey include office floors being re-tiled between tenants, shop units fitted out before opening, classrooms refurbished in the holidays. Surrey is in the South East, around 109 miles from our Birmingham base on average.
What the job includes
- Full strip-out and new grid where it is not
- Re-tile into existing grid where it is sound
- Waste removed and recycled where possible
- Phased, out-of-hours working in occupied buildings
Questions people ask
Do you cover all of Surrey?
Yes. We take on ceiling replacement across Surrey, including Guildford, Woking, Epsom and Redhill, and nearby areas such as Greater London, West Sussex and Berkshire.
Can you fit a ceiling in an occupied office in Redhill?
Yes. We work evenings and weekends, sheet and move furniture section by section, and leave each area usable for the next morning.
Do you need an asbestos survey?
For buildings built before 2000, yes, before any strip-out. If you do not have one, we can tell you what to ask a surveyor for.
Can you replace just the tiles?
Yes, if the grid is straight, clean and a standard size. It is often half the cost of a new ceiling.
