Suspended ceiling installation in Derbyshire
We provide suspended ceiling installation throughout Derbyshire, from Derby to Chesterfield, for commercial, education and public buildings. A suspended ceiling is a lightweight grid hung on wires below the structural soffit, filled with lay-in tiles.
Suspended ceiling installation for Derbyshire buildings
For shops and retail units in Chesterfield we programme ceilings around lease and opening dates, doing stockroom grids and shop-floor ceilings in one visit where possible. In older buildings in Chesterfield we check void depths, window heads and the asbestos register before setting a new ceiling height.
Typical suspended ceiling installation jobs we price in Derbyshire include shop units fitted out before opening, ceilings in older buildings with low window heads, office floors being re-tiled between tenants. Derbyshire is in the East Midlands, around 41 miles from our Birmingham base on average.

Questions people ask
Do you cover all of Derbyshire?
Yes. We take on suspended ceiling installation across Derbyshire, including Derby and Chesterfield, and nearby areas such as Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Staffordshire.
Can you work around our shop's opening hours in Chesterfield?
Yes. We can fit overnight or before opening, and phase the work so the shop floor keeps trading.
How long does it take to fit a suspended ceiling?
A two-person team typically fits somewhere around 60–120 m² a day in an open room once the setting out is done. Corridors, bulkheads and lots of light fittings slow that down. We give a programme with the quote.
Can you fit a suspended ceiling while the building is in use?
Yes. We regularly work evenings and weekends in occupied offices and shops, sheeting and moving furniture section by section so the space can be used the next morning.
