Suspended ceiling replacement in Essex
We provide ceiling replacement throughout Essex, from Chelmsford to Harlow, for commercial, education and public buildings. Ceiling replacement means stripping out a tired, damaged or outdated suspended ceiling and fitting a new one, or re-tiling a sound grid with new tiles.
Suspended ceiling replacement for Essex buildings
Much of Harlow was built from the 1960s onwards, and many of its original office and public-building ceilings are now due for re-tiling or replacement. Office buildings in Harlow range from older blocks with tired grids to floors fitted out for each new tenant. We match tiles where we can and replace the grid where it no longer suits the layout.
Typical ceiling replacement jobs we price in Essex include first-generation ceilings in post-war buildings due for replacement, office floors being re-tiled between tenants, classrooms refurbished in the holidays. Essex is in the East of England, around 119 miles from our Birmingham base on average.

Questions people ask
Do you cover all of Essex?
Yes. We take on ceiling replacement across Essex, including Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon and Harlow, and nearby areas such as Greater London, Kent and Hertfordshire.
Our ceiling in Basildon dates from when the building went up. Replace or re-tile?
If the grid is straight, clean and a standard size, re-tiling is cheaper. If it is bent, rusty or in the wrong layout, replace it.
Do you need an asbestos survey?
For buildings built before 2000, yes, before any strip-out. If you do not have one, we can tell you what to ask a surveyor for.
Can you replace just the tiles?
Yes, if the grid is straight, clean and a standard size. It is often half the cost of a new ceiling.
