Questions people ask
Do you cover all of North Yorkshire?
Yes. We take on MF plasterboard ceilings across North Yorkshire, including York, Harrogate, Scarborough and Middlesbrough, and nearby areas such as County Durham, East Riding of Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
Can you fit a ceiling in an occupied office in York?
Yes. We work evenings and weekends, sheet and move furniture section by section, and leave each area usable for the next morning.
Can an MF ceiling be fire-rated?
Yes, using fire-resisting board in a tested build-up. The rating comes from the whole system as tested, so we follow the board maker's specification exactly.
Is an MF ceiling better than a grid ceiling?
Neither is better; they do different jobs. Grid ceilings are cheaper and keep the void accessible. MF looks cleaner and can be fire-rated, but you need access panels to reach anything above it.
